Riding a Bike

Some friends of ours recently gave Chase a bike that they no longer needed.  We took it out to the park Saturday for his first try with it.  He did really well for his first time without training wheels. He hasn't quite got the hang of starting off by himself but he can turn and stop on his own.  

Camping In The Living Room

Chase has been wanting to set up a tent and camp with daddy in the living room for a few months now.  So we went to our neighborhood Asda (it's a store that is owned by Walmart) and bought a 2 person tent.  Daddy and Chase set it up last night and slept in the living room.  I was quite happy to leave them downstairs while I slept in my own bed.  Chase loved it but daddy had a not so good night of sleep.  

Spiderman Face

Last weekend we went to a nearby park.  They were having a festival throughout the park so Chase was able to have his face painted and of course he chose Spiderman.  London has tons of parks.  When the weather is nice we try to spend part of the weekend outdoors.  It's nice to have parks with grass and safe playground equipment.  Where we used to live there were very few parks and hardly any grass at all.  But it was always sunny where we used to live whereas here the weather is much more unpredictable so we take advantage of nice sunny days whenever we can.   

2 Teeth

Chase lost two teeth in the past two weeks.  He was so proud of losing them.  We took him to the dentist a few weeks ago because we could see that his new teeth were already coming up behind his baby teeth.  Apparently this is normal because the dentist said that she sees this all the time.  She said that once the baby teeth come out the new teeth would start moving into place.
