We had dinner with friends the other night at Johnny Carinos on the Nile. Chase and Kaylee shared a mango juice. The following story is not for those who have weak stomachs or who do not want to read about bodily functions :-) We were at the store the other night and Chase decided he had to use the bathroom. For those of you who have been here you know that it's pretty difficult to find bathrooms when you are out and when you do find one they are almost never clean. Well, we found one, but it was far from clean. There was no toilet paper and I didn't have any tissues with me (normally I do). Chase had to do a #2 and I didn't bring wipes either. Some of you may want to stop reading now :-)
Chase did his business, with some assistance from me, and all the while I was trying to figure out how we were going to finish the job. I'm looking around for anything, but there's nothing, not even a bidet (A bidet is a low-mounted plumbing fixture or type of sink intended for washing)! Then it occurred to me that there was a sink with running water. I can just see my sister-in-law's face right now (Lynn, I know I'm going to hear about this)! I carried Chase over to the sink and washed him up. He giggled and said "that's cold mommy." Yeah, I was pretty much DONE with the whole situation. Thank goodness I had my antibacterial hand sanitizer in my purse. And yes, I washed my hands for a really long time once we got home.
