Memoirs of a crazy woman :-)

Greg's mom and dad visited last month for the first time. Greg's mom absolutely hates flying. While she was here she showed us her notepad that she had been writing on during the flight. She has restless leg syndrome so being crammed into a small space for 12 hours is not the best scenario. She told us that writing helped keep her legs from jumping. I scanned the three sheets she wrote and posted them above. She said she felt like a crazy woman writing her name over and over again. Those of you who know her can just picture her sitting in the plane writing this and wishing the plane would hurry up and land :-)

The next to the last line is actually Dad acting like he is Mom. They were both pretty much "done" with the flight. We hope that this will not keep them from coming back again. Chase really enjoyed seeing his grandma and grandpa.

Cute

A few weeks ago Greg and Chase were playing around with the hair gel and came up with this new hairdo. Chase loved it!

Potty Training Saga

Most of you all know that we've been trying to get Chase potty trained for a couple of weeks now. We put it on hold for awhile since it wasn't going to well. Tonight, Chase was in the bathtub playing and Greg brought in these new Spiderman underwear. Chase was excited and wanted to hold them. Greg told him he'd have to start using the potty if he wanted to wear them. He asked Chase if he wanted to wear them and Chase very calmly said "no" and went about playing. It was really very funny but we couldn't laugh in front of him. This little boy is quite stubborn when it comes to using the potty. Everyone keeps saying that he won't be going into kindergarten in diapers but I'm beginning to have my doubts :-)

More fun at Aqua Park

I actually did not take these photos. I lifted them off of Sawyer's parent's blog :-) Aren't they just adorable! Neither one of their swim trunks would stay up. The first picture is them throwing water at each other with their shovels. This really is a cute and fun age right now. Well, most of the time it is. We've been trying to potty train, which by the way is not going well AT ALL!!!! I'm ready for that to be over and done with :-)

I have two cute videos to post from our day at Aqua Park but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Aqua Park May 2008

We spent the day this past Friday at Aqua Park to celebrate a friend's birthday. The kids all had a great time splashing around and jumping in the waves.
