The Fort Building Has Begun!

When Greg was growing up he and his brothers were constantly building forts so Greg thought it was time to start that tradition with Chase. They had a great time taking blankets and comforters off beds and cushions off couches to build their fort. Chase had the best time running from the bedroom to the living room and literally diving into the fort.

One Year Ago Today....

Chase officially became our son exactly one year ago today, although in our hearts he was our son the moment we saw his picture :-) This year has really flown by! Chase has grown so much and he's doing more and more new things every day. He's known as the energetic boy among our friends here :-) He is truly a blessing and we are so thankful that the Lord has placed him in our family.

Chase's New Favorite Ornament

Chase's grandma and grandpa sent him his "3rd Christmas" ornament this week. It was a toss up between a "Cars" ornament and "Spiderman." Grandma won out :-)

When Chase saw the ornament on the tree he was so excited! He loves Spiderman. As you can see in one of the pics he was acting like him too.

Thanks grandma and grandpa for the tradition you've started. Chase can't wait to give you a big hug and kiss. Hopefully in a couple of months if grandpa ever gets his birth certificate so that he can get his passport :-)

The Mile Long Belt

Almost all of Chase's pants are too big for him so we ordered a belt to be brought in from the States by a friend. We looked here for a belt first, but we couldn't find one that actually worked :-)

I ordered this one off Amazon. It was described as a kid's belt. I'd like to see the kid that this actually fits :-) Greg ended up cutting off the extra so that it wouldn't have to wrap around Chase three times (we tried it and it really did go around three times!)
